Well It all stared as a great idea but is turning out a flop.
Well Lisa and I wanted to plant a garden and have some fresh vegges this summer so we did something a little different this year.
We though we would do a raised garden so we bought 8 4x3x8ft lumber from home depot and a large peice of black plastic we took th plastic and laid it on the ground and put the lumber down to make a 8x8 box on the ground and then we filled it with top soil and dried cow poop and planted.
With in two weeks we had little plants popping up all over ,and we're thinking life is good ,but before long the plants stop growing and started turning yellow.
We're not sure if it becuase they may have got to much water or the dried cow poop is burnig the roots..can anyone help us
I didn't start a garden this year. My intentions were good! I thought a garden would save on my grocery bill. Just never got around to get it started.
My Parents and sister both have one though, and I am hearing theirs is having the same problem. The consensus is... to much water!
To much dried cow poop? You should have seen the layer of fresh cow poop we put on our garden back on the farm! I don't think it would hurt your plants if they were planted in straight dried cow poop!
Straight chicken poop is another story!
